PTC and Rockwell Automation announced a strategic partnership to jointly boost industry innovation and enterprise development

PTC (NASDAQ: PTC) and Rockwell Automation (NYSE: ROK) today announced that they have signed a final strategic cooperation agreement. The purpose of this cooperation is to accelerate the development of both parties and become a reliable partner of global customers, so as to help customers complete the digital transformation of entity operation. 

As part of the cooperation, Rockwell Automation will make a US $1 billion equity investment in PTC. From the completion of the equity transaction, Blake Moret, chairman and CEO of Rockwell Automation will officially join the board of directors of PTC
